Noone can know it all. Here are some core features explained in short so you judge if they are a useful choice for you or not.
Each Storage Server can have up to 3 independent storage disks.
These are are N+2 secured NVMe cached disks to hold your data.
Each disk can be upgraded any time independent of the other disks or completely removed through UI to always meet your needs.
A snapshot is a copy of the status your server at the time you create the snapshot of your server. You can any time revert back to this status.
This is useful if you want to try out something and being able to jump back before you made all the changes of data since the snapshot was taken.
Snapshots can be created in running and stopped state.
Reverse DNS is like a DNS record but for your IP address(es).
While normal DNS A-Records will point from a specific (sub)domain to a specific IP, the rDNS record will point from an IP to a specific DNS record.
It is used mainly with eMailservers but sometimes also with VPN server
The VNC Remote Console is an _independent_ way to access the console of your server. Its like a mouse, keyboard and display attached to your server.
You can use it even before your operating system has been booted. And you can access the boot menue with it too.
It is used in case you lost IP connectivity and want to administrate your server or if you want to install your server from scratch without any templates.
We offer a selection of Linux and Windows Templates to be installed automatically.
These templates are usually the minimal install flavour with default settings of the selected Operatingsystem.
Aside of this templates you can use the ISO mount feature to mount your own ISO files and install what ever OS ( x32 or x64 compatible ) you need.
Traffic is the amount of data that your server is sending or receiving.
Depending on the Server you choose ( start, advanced or pro ) different amounts of Traffic and bandwidth is included.
If you require more traffic, you can anytime upgrade or downgrade the amount of traffic.
Be aware: If you are running out of traffic, your bandwidth will be reduced to a minimum speed.
